Dr. Ananth Selliyan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at South County Eye Care. A native to St. Louis, he proudly returned to serve his home community. Dr. Selliyan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Truman State University, graduating with Cum Laude honors and recognized as a Who’s Who Inductee. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, graduating with Cum Laude honors and inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. Following completion of an Internal Medicine internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, he returned to University of Missouri- Kansas City to complete his Ophthalmology residency.

Dr. Selliyan is Board Certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His primary areas of interest include routine exams, diabetic eye exams, cataract surgery, minimally invasive and laser glaucoma surgery, macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. Dr. Selliyan is committed to excellence, providing the best individualized eye care to every patient.
